Substitute School Nurse – Spartanburg District 7

This substitute school nursing role supports students across the school day in Spartanburg, SC, stepping in to provide consistent, quality care when the regular nurse is unavailable. You will manage acute illness and injury, administer medications, respond to health emergencies, and maintain accurate health records in accordance with state and district protocols. The work also involves supporting students with chronic health conditions and communicating with families and staff as needed. As a substitute, you will work across school settings on an as-needed basis, which calls for adaptability and the ability to quickly establish rapport with students and staff. A current South Carolina nursing license is expected, along with a genuine interest in the health and well-being of school-age children.
