# Special Education Teacher **Hampton, SC Area | School-Based | $45–54/hr | 2026–2027 School Year** KindSpire Education is seeking a **Special Education Teacher** for a school-based position in the Hampton, SC area for the 2026–2027 school year. There are **two potential assignments available**, depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications: * **3rd–4th Grade Self-Contained Special Education** * **8th Grade Resource / Self-Contained ELA & Math** We're looking for a dedicated special education teacher who can provide strong academic and behavioral support while working closely with general education teachers, special education staff, and families. ### Position Details * Special Education Teacher * School-based, in-person position * Hampton, SC area * 2026–2027 school year * Full-time * Monday–Friday school schedule * **$45–54 per hour** * Immediate interviews available * Contract position ### Responsibilities * Develop and deliver instruction based on students' IEPs * Provide specialized academic and behavioral support * Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in student IEPs * Monitor and document student progress * Collaborate with general education and special education staff * Participate in IEP meetings and student planning * Maintain accurate documentation and required records * Create a structured, supportive learning environment ### Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field * Valid South Carolina special education teaching certification or eligibility * Experience working with students with disabilities * **School-based special education experience preferred** * Strong classroom management and communication skills * Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and support staff ### Why Work With KindSpire Education? * **$45–54/hr** * Weekly pay * Benefits available for eligible employees * PTO and additional benefits may be available * Dedicated support throughout your assignment * Opportunities for future school-based assignments If you're a **Special Education Teacher** interested in a school-based opportunity in the Hampton, SC area, we'd like to hear from you.
