Special Education Teacher – Elementary Resource Room (St. Paul, MN)

40 hrs/week
KindSpire Education is seeking a licensed Special Education Teacher for an in-person, full-time position at a charter school in St. Paul, MN. The teacher will lead a multi-categorical resource room serving primarily elementary students, with a caseload of about 15. This is an immediate start through early June (end of the 2026-27 school year).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction in a multi-categorical resource room setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students, primarily elementary
- Write, implement and monitor IEPs and progress reports
- Conduct and participate in evaluations and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers and families
- Maintain compliance documentation per Minnesota special education requirements
What you’ll need
- Active Minnesota special education teaching license (any special education licensure area accepted)
- ABS (Academic and Behavioral Strategist) license preferred
- Experience in a resource room or multi-categorical setting preferred
- Elementary special education experience preferred
- Able to work in person, full time (8-hour day)
- Ability to pass a background check
