This position supports students with disabilities in a K-12 school setting in Burlington, WI, working closely alongside licensed special education teachers to help students access instruction and meet their individual goals. Day to day, you will assist with academic tasks, facilitate social interactions, support behavioral needs, and help students build independence in the classroom and across the school environment. You may work one-on-one with specific students or support small groups, depending on the needs of the team.
The school year brings a natural rhythm of assessment periods, IEP meetings, and shifting student needs, and you will play an important role in tracking progress and communicating observations to the broader support team.
