This school nursing position places you at the center of student health and wellness in a K-12 setting in Downingtown, PA. You will manage day-to-day health office operations, respond to student illness and injury, administer medications, and support students with chronic health conditions through individualized health plans. Working closely with teachers, counselors, families, and administrators, you serve as a trusted resource for the whole school community. The rhythm of the school year brings variety, from coordinating health screenings and immunization compliance in the fall to managing ongoing student needs throughout the year. You will communicate regularly with parents and outside healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care. A valid nursing licence appropriate to the state of Pennsylvania is expected for this role.
